Common questions about PG&E EV rebates
Does the rebate apply to all Ladegrid chargers?+
The PG&E ENERGY STAR requirement means Charge Home 48 ($499) and Charge Pro ($899) qualify for the full rebate. Charge Core 40 qualifies if PG&E updates their program. We'll let you know.
How long does the rebate take?+
Typically 4–8 weeks after we submit the application. We track it for you and notify you when it's processed.
Can I stack the PG&E rebate with other incentives?+
Yes. The PG&E rebate stacks with the federal 30C tax credit ($1,000) and the California CVRP rebate. Total potential savings: $2,000+ on a Charge Home 48 installation.
Do I need to switch to the EV rate plan?+
Not required for the rebate, but recommended. PG&E's EV-2A rate drops overnight electricity to ~$0.13/kWh, about $1.50 for a full charge.
