Yes. At up to $1,200, it's the most generous utility EV charger rebate in Texas and one of the highest in the US.
What is EV360?+
Austin Energy's EV-specific rate plan. It offers off-peak electricity at ~$0.03/kWh, roughly $0.50 for a full EV charge overnight.
Can I stack the Austin Energy rebate with the federal credit?+
Yes. Austin Energy rebate ($1,200) + federal 30C credit ($1,000) = up to $2,200 in savings on a Charge Home 48 installation.
Does this cover Charge Core 40?+
Austin Energy requires ENERGY STAR certification, so Charge Home 48 ($499) and Charge Pro ($899) qualify. Charge Core 40 does not currently qualify.
